Getting there...

Slowly, but surely, life is getting back to normal around here.  I think I am pretty much fully recovered now, but have a dose of the 'doing too much, too soons', so am a little bit sore.  Thank you so much for all the well wishes!  Your comments were great pick-me-ups when I really needed them.

Of course, just about every room in the house is nearly done, so there are no awesome reveals to show, but here is a sneak peak of a few bits and pieces for you.

No photos in the bottom row yet.  Also need something for the top of the buffet.
I love this spot, though - we'll get there!
Little Girl's Book Corner.  She also uses this spot for rocking out to her favourite song - 'Usher! Usher!'
Big Girl's workspace
Have a lovely week, everyone!

  1. Looking good M, and glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. Take it easy though and let yourself heal (hard with and whose to decorate, I know!).

The pink pin board in your big girl's workspace reminds me of this Ikea 'hack' where they painted a plain white flat woven rug in that pattern:

  3. Glad to hear you're feeling better! So funny, that exact same "nook" next to the dining table is what I love about our house too, I'm currently in the process of making (attempting) a console table for that space and planned on a frame wall too! It's just such a perfect spot for it! Everything else is starting to look very home-y which is nice! Em

    1. Wow! Making a console table?!!!! We must see some photos of this. The console we were planning to make went out the window, so I'll live through you on that project.

  9. It all looks beautiful. I especially love the pendant light above the table. We're thinking of installing similar in a couple of the rooms <3
